Traumatic Event Response Team
The Traumatic Event Response Team (TERT) is a group of Keystone Area Education Agency Social Workers and Psychologists who have had special training and will respond anywhere within the Keystone AEA area to a traumatic event. A traumatic event may be an accident, suicide, or natural disaster which results in school being in a state of shock.
To Mobilize TERT call the School Social Worker assigned to your school or your Sector Coordinator.

-
- The plan provides school districts with a basic set of materials with which to respond to any traumatic occurrence which has an obvious effect on the total school community. While this document may serve as a guide for a district should such an event happen, it is hoped each district will supplement it with a specific plan of its own to address any special and individual needs.
