Parent-Educator Connection
The Parent-Educator Connection began in 1984 under the sponsorship of the Iowa Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education. It is designed to provide parents and educators with opportunities to work together in more positive ways.
It operates under the premise that when genuine partnerships exist between parents and educators, quality planning and programming for children will occur. Because special education services are frequently provided in the regular education setting, the Parent-Educator Connection has expanded its program to include all parents and educators in the Keystone Area Education Agency.
Keystone AEA's Parent-Educator Connection Program is here to serve all parents and educators in Northeast Iowa. Our guiding philosophy is that education for all children is improved when families and educators work together. The program offers a variety of free services.
