Autism Resource Team
Keystone AEA is a Recipient of the Dubuque Racing Association Grant
The Keystone AEA Autism Resource Team was formed to provide educationally based consultative services for school districts and families within AEA 1. It is part of a state-wide cooperative effort to meet the needs of children with autism. Autism team members have received specialized training in order to work with children and young adults who have autism or similar characteristics.
The agencies that are involved with this effort are:
- Bureau of Special Education
- Iowa Department of Education
- Iowa Child Health and Specialty Clinics
- Division of Child Psychiatry at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics
- Area Education Agencies
